The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit Electric Boat Corporation, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton CT 06340, as prime contractor for the construction of up to ten (10) VIRGINIA Class Submarines from FY 14 to FY 18 and for Non-Propulsion Long Lead Time Material for the FY19 and FY20 ships. If authorized by law, and funds are appropriated, the resultant procurement will be a multiyear contract. Electric Boat Corporation will team, via a major subcontract, with Huntington Ingalls, Inc., 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607.
