Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing this solicitation for the provision of fresh bread products to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Cumberland, MD. The mission of the Bureau is to ensure the safe and secure confinement of inmates while providing essential services, including food services.

This contract aims to supply various types of bread and buns for the second quarter of FY26, ensuring that the institution's dietary needs are met efficiently.

Work Details
The contractor will be required to deliver the following items:
1. **Hot Dog Buns**: 38,000 units of enriched finger rolls (wheat, pan baked, sliced, fresh, seedless) as per CID A-A-20053B specifications. Fresh bread must be delivered within 48 hours after baking.
2. **Hamburger Buns**: 64,600 units of enriched sandwich rolls (whole wheat or multigrain, pan baked, sliced, fresh, seedless) also adhering to CID A-A-20053B specifications with similar delivery requirements.
3. **Sliced Bread**: 12,000 units of whole wheat or wheat unseasoned loaves (pan baked, sliced, enriched, seedless) according to CID A-A-20052B specifications. Each loaf must specify the number of usable slices for comparison purposes.

All deliveries are to be made to FCI Cumberland at 14601 Burbridge Rd SE, Cumberland, MD 21502.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the Federal Bureau of Prisons at FCI Cumberland located in Cumberland, MD.
