Description

A redacted justification and approval for 155mm M795 Projectile Load, Assemble, and Pack (LAP). Supports contracts W519TC23D0014 and W519TC23D0015.

Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) at Rock Island Arsenal, IL, is issuing a justification and approval for other than full and open competition to support the replenishment of the U.S. Army stockpile of 155mm M795 Projectiles, depleted due to Presidential Drawdowns for Ukrainian War efforts.

Work Details
The contract involves the Load, Assemble, and Pack (LAP) of 155mm M795 Projectiles, which are extended-range, high explosive artillery projectiles used for anti-personnel and anti-material targets. The projectiles are hollow, high-fragmentation steel forged shells filled with Trinitrotoluene (TNT) explosive.

The USG will provide unloaded projectiles and supplementary charges as Government Furnished Material (GFM), while TNT will be Contractor Furnished Material (CFM). Explosively-loaded projectiles are packed eight per wooden pallet provided as GFM.

Period of Performance
Five-year Firm Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
