Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area Office has a construction requirement for the replacement of roof vents in the Holm Research Center Hemoparasite Barn at 2222 West 6th Street, Moscow, Idaho. The contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract under with a size standard of $39.5M. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is expected to be issued on or around 6/3/2024 and will be accessible via https://sam.gov/. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFQ package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all professional services necessary for the accomplishment of the contract project, which involves replacing the existing metal high profile ridge vents that do not fully close and leak in the Holm Research Center Hemoparasite barn. The contractor is responsible for removing three existing ridge vents, modifying existing roofing as required for installation of new ridge vents, and installing three new ridge vents per manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations. The work shall be conducted during normal daily working hours between 7 am and 5:00 pm. The contractor will work with site personnel to ensure project is accomplished in a timely manner and adhere to all construction and services requirements stated within the project specifications, federal, state, and local code requirements, as well as current industry standards.

Place of Performance
The project site is located at the Hemoparasite barn, Holm Research Center, University of Idaho.
