Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and aims to improve public traffic safety, access for fire management, and recreational use in the Frazier Mountain Area.

The project involves resurfacing existing aged and broken Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) on the Mt Pinos Ranger District of the Los Padres National Forest.
