Proposal due date / time is hereby extended FROM July 9, 2025, 1:00 PM PST, TO July 16, 2025, 1:00 PM PST.

Attached are "2. Schedule of Items", "3. Project Drawings", "4. Project Specs" (all updated 6-20) which are hereby incorporated into any subsequent contract award. Failure to use the revised documents and requirements revised within will result in your proposal being non-responsive.

All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Greg Cunningham, on the attached RFI form not later than 1300 hours PST, June 12th, 2025.

A FS organized pre-proposal site visit will NOT be held. The project locations are open to the public and can be viewed by each prospective offeror. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service for the GAOA Scenic Byway Recreation Site Rehabilitation project located in Sierra National Forest, Madera County.

The goal of this contract is to enhance recreational facilities along a scenic byway, ensuring improved access and amenities for visitors while preserving the natural environment.

Work Details
The project involves comprehensive construction tasks including:

- Clearing and grubbing;
- Demolition and removal of existing facilities;
- Excavation;
- Rehabilitation and new construction of campsites (single, double, and group sites);
- Construction of tent pads;
- Creation of outdoor recreation access routes (ORARS);
- Installation of vault toilet buildings;
- Placement of additional aggregate base material;
- Re-grading of base material;
- Pouring new concrete;
- Painting traffic markings;
- Installing facility signs;
- Setting up picnic tables, service tables, fire rings, food storage lockers, and wheel stops.

The contractor is also responsible for furnishing and installing aggregate base as specified in the project plans.

The contract performance period is 150 days from the notice to proceed, which will be issued considering lead times for manufacturing and delivering vault toilets.
