All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Greg Cunningham, on the attached RFI form not later than 1300 hours PST, January 31st, 2025.

An organized site visit will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, 10:00 AM PST. See page 30 for full details.

In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service for the rehabilitation of the historic Patrick Creek Bathhouse, built in 1934 and listed on the National Historic Registry.

The project aims to address ongoing water damage and preserve the historical character of the bathhouse located in the Six Rivers National Forest, California. The work will enable continued adaptive reuse of this structure by enhancing its historical value.

Work Details
The scope of work includes installing eight new double-pane wood sash windows and two solid core wood exterior doors. Specific tasks include:
- Installation of eight windows measuring 2’2” wide x 2’7” high and two doors (one measuring 2’7” wide x 6’7” high, and another measuring 2’9” wide x 6’8” high).
- Application of necessary flashing, installation of new framing for windows and doors, installation of windowsills and thresholds.
- Installation of all necessary hardware, ensuring all gaps are filled and weather-tight, caulking/sealing all gaps and seams.
- Sanding smooth and staining all bare wood surfaces with semi-transparent wood stain (color to be determined later).

The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, portable toilet facilities, and comply with all legal requirements related to construction.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is set to begin within 10 calendar days after award and must be completed within 60 calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Patrick Creek Campground in the Six Rivers National Forest, northern California.
