All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Greg Cunningham, on the attached RFI form not later than 1300 hours PST, August 24th, 2023.

A FS organized pre-proposal site visit will NOT be held. The project locations are open to the public and can be viewed by each prospective offeror. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Background
The contract, 127EAW23R0060 - Sandy Bar River Access Road Repair, is for repairs on the Lower Trinity Ranger District of Six Rivers National Forest on Sandy Bar Access Road. The project work includes reconditioning the roadway, incorporating drainage features, reestablishing ditches, shaping to a uniform surface, surface blading, adding surface aggregate, excavating slide material, and placing a rock buttress on cutslope. The operating season is year-round except where prohibited by snow or wet weather. The project area is accessible from Eureka via Highway 101 North to Highway 299 to Friday Ridge Road, then to Forest Rt. 6N06.

Work Details
The intent of the contract is to secure services for repairs on the Lower Trinity Ranger District of Six Rivers National Forest on Sandy Bar Access Road. The project work includes reconditioning the roadway by incorporating drainage features (i.e., rolling dips), reestablishing ditches, shaping to a uniform surface, surface blading and adding surface aggregate to reestablish the gradient of road. Additionally, excavating slide material on the roadways and placing a rock buttress on cutslope. The project area is accessible from Eureka via Highway 101 North to Highway 299 to Friday Ridge Road, then to Forest Rt. 6N06. The operating season shall be year-round except where prohibited by snow or wet weather.

The construction projects will be performed at the Lower Trinity Ranger District of Six Rivers National Forest on Sandy Bar Access Road.
