Combined Longitudinal and Circumferential Test Standard (x3) UT Inspection of Cannon Tube, 120mm

Ultrasonic Testing Forging Standard for M298 (13070993) (x1)

Ultrasonic Inspection Standard for Forging Forging --M298 (13075798) (x1)

Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determination No.: 2015-4143 Latest Revision Applies and is Incorporated.

NOTE: Procurement is a sole source with PH Tool,
Pipersville, PA. All responsible offerors may submit a quote, which will be
evaluated.

Background
The solicitation is for a sole source procurement with PH Tool, Pipersville, PA. The contract is for the production of 120mm UT Mortars at Watervliet Arsenal. The contractor will be responsible for performing all work at their facility, including shipping 6 blank 120mm mortars to PH Tool for notching and placing flat bottom holes throughout the tubes and then shipping them back to Watervliet Arsenal.
Watervliet Arsenal does not have the in-house expertise or equipment to complete this function at this time.

Work Details
The statement of work (SOW) defines the effort required for 6 UT calibration tubes needed to continue production of short and long 120mm mortars and prove-out 2 new UT inspection machines to start running 120mm mortar production. The contractor is also responsible for shipping the blank 120mm mortars to PH Tool for further processing and then shipping them back to Watervliet Arsenal. The work includes normal duty hours from 7:00 AM through 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 AM through 3:00 PM on select Fridays. Federal holidays are non-work days.
