Background
The USDA Forest Service, Siuslaw National Forest, is issuing this contract for the construction of a prefabricated timber glulam pedestrian bridge as part of their mission to maintain and enhance forest infrastructure.

The goal of this contract is to replace an existing trail bridge and ensure safe access along FS Trail #1319, thereby supporting recreational activities and environmental stewardship.

Work Details
The contractor must furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the construction of one prefabricated timber glulam pedestrian bridge.

The work includes:
- Clearing and excavation;
- Placement of one 40 ft span x 3 ft clear width prefabricated timber glulam pedestrian bridge;
- Installation of timber decking and railing;
- Gabion placement;
- Concrete grade beam placement;
- Backwall construction;
- Stair construction;
- Trail embankment construction.

The structure is located at MP 0.2793 along FS Trail #1319 and may require the use of a helicopter for placement.

Period of Performance
February 1, 2025, through March 17, 2025.

Place of Performance
Siuslaw National Forest, Corvallis, Oregon.
