Background
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) is seeking to lease a temporary Chiller System to produce chilled water for support of critical systems. The Chiller System must include a chiller, pump, associated controls, flow meter, and hose assemblies. The Chilled water system will serve year-round, through the winter months and will be exposed to very low load conditions and freezing temperatures.
Freeze protection will be required for the chilled water loop which will be satisfied via heat trace to induce a thermal load on the chilled water system.

Work Details
The contract requires the lease of a temporary Chiller System to produce chilled water for support of critical systems at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The Chiller System must include specific components such as a 100-Ton Chiller, Pump: 240 GPM, 400 FT 4 IN Dia. Chilled Water Hose, Flow Switch, Temperature Gauge, Flow Meter, and 90 Degree Elbows. Additionally, detailed technical specifications for the 100 Ton Air Cooled Chiller are provided including operating capacity, design operating chilled water flowrate, temperature set points, controls interface requirements, electrical requirements, and freeze protection specifications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is specified as 52 weeks for the rental of one (1) 100T Critical Chiller and maintenance services. There are also options to extend the contract for additional periods.

The place of performance is designated as Portsmouth Naval Shipyard with specific delivery dates and quantities outlined in the solicitation document.
