AXON Taser 7 and accessories

Background
The contract is for the procurement of Axon Taser 7’s and accessories to be used by Law Enforcement Officers at Big Bend National Park. The justification for other than full and open competition is due to the urgent and compelling circumstances as the tasers are not available on a GSA schedule, and there are only two sources, authorized dealers: Aardvark Tactical (small business) and Axon Enterprise (large business). Aardvark cannot supply the tasers, only the accessories.
Axon is the only company that provides the items, and the taser is the only E.C.D. approved for use by USNPS RM 9 Law Enforcement Operations.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of Axon Taser 7’s and accessories. The tasers are not available on a GSA schedule, and in 2022 and current 2023, procurements for these items were purchased in the open market using.
