1-year PM service contract for Agilent HPLC

Background
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Office of Acquisitions, is seeking to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a one-year preventive maintenance service agreement for Agilent High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems.

The NIH is the nation's leading medical research agency, aiming to enhance health and reduce illness through fundamental knowledge about living systems. This contract aims to ensure the continued reliable operation of critical analytical equipment used in research.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities required to perform the services described in this Statement of Work.

The contractor must have extensive experience servicing and repairing Agilent HPLC systems, including Diode Array Detectors (DAD) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) detectors. Services include:
1) Dispatch of a qualified service representative to NCATS facilities as required;
2) Preventive maintenance visits performed onsite;
3) Diagnosis and repair of equipment malfunctions;
4) Repair or replacement of defective components using OEM parts;
5) Shipment and delivery of replacement parts when necessary;
6) Technical support and troubleshooting assistance;
7) Documentation of all maintenance and repair activities. All replacement parts must be OEM compatible with the Agilent HPLC system.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will begin upon acceptance of the Purchase Order by the vendor and continue for twelve months.

Place of Performance
NCATS facilities located at 9808 Medical Center Dr, Rockville MD 20850.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate extensive experience servicing Agilent HPLC systems. Only authorized field service engineers with proven experience servicing the instruments listed in this SOW shall provide service.
