1 month bridge task order - DTMO TMC Services DTA6

Background
This requirement is an assisted acquisition conducted by the General Services Administration (GSA) for procurement of Travel Management Company (TMC) services in support of the Department of Defense (DoD), specifically for the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO).

The contract aims to ensure continuity of travel services for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in Asia Pacific Defense Travel Area 6 (DTA 6). The incumbent contractor, CW Government Travel, Inc. (CWT), has been providing these services since May 31, 2017, and has faced challenges due to multiple protests affecting competitive procurements.

Work Details
The required TMC services are specialized and necessitate familiarity with specific travel regulations such as the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and the Defense Travel Regulation (DTR).

The contractor must provide end-to-end travel management services, including accurate and timely traveler reservations, assistance with centrally billed accounts reconciliation, and immediate ramp-up capabilities to support surge requirements during national emergencies or military operations.

The transition period for a new contractor is estimated at 90 days for OCONUS locations. The current task order seeks to maintain continuity of services while transitioning from CWT to Omega World Travel, ensuring no disruption in mission-critical travel services.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this sole source effort will be for a total of one month and one day from March 7, 2026, to April 8, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Asia Pacific Defense Travel Area 6 (DTA 6), supporting U.S. Marine Corps operations.
