Background
This project consists of the design and construction of new facilities on an existing USFS owned parcel within the Eldorado National Forest. The facilities will provide mission critical support for the Placerville Ranger District and the local community of Grizzly Flats. The agency aims to maximize use of sustainable building practices and ensure backup power capability in case of intermittent power outages.

Work Details
The project includes the design and construction of an engine bay, garage, and four 6-occupant barracks. The construction also involves utility infrastructure, site work such as earthwork, installation of utilities, septic system installation, road reconstruction, and other associated trades including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and communications systems. The contractor is responsible for all associated site work and trades to allow immediate occupation of the space by the engine module. Additionally, after the construction drawing set is complete, the Design/Build firm will provide construction contract administration support to Construction Contract Administration Team.

Period of Performance
The performance period is negotiable but must be completed within 420 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.
