Description
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) has a requirement for an X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometer (XPS/ESCA), which provides chemical analysis of surface contaminants at the submicron scale in support of GSFC flight projects. The current XPS system is over 25 years old. This purchase will enable increased resolution, stability, and accuracy and allow state-of-the-art measurements with greater ease of operation.
