Description
Provides scientific and technical services with experts in UNDEX and AIREX analysis of undersea and surface vessels to develop and utilize specialized software codes that: 1) Aid in the selection of live fire events and provide support to live fire test and evaluation programs; 2) Simulate an underwater shock environment from a far field or near miss location; 3) Simulate the response of Navy platforms to UNDEX and AIREX for far field, near miss, contact, and internally detonating weapon attacks; 4) Check the integrity of a computational models; 5) Solve finite element model's elastic-plastic response and reduced order engineering tools to UNDEX and AIREX events; and 6) Simulate a nuclear underwater shock environment or nuclear air blast environment from a far field location
