Phase 1 will be half of the following work: Approximately 1 mile of expansion joints will be replaced. Work to replace / repair the expansion joints will include: removing all existing joint gland and spacer material, remove all bulk adhesive from the sides of the joints, sandblasting and scarifying the joints, and install the new joint glands, spacer material, and adhesive.
