Description
The primary objectives of the proposed contract are to widen and reconstruct Veterans Drive, enhance pedestrian and vehicular safety, and improve drainage of the roadway prism. The project proposes a four-lane roadway with two lanes in each direction with a median left turn lane and new promenade along the oceanside for an approximate distance of 2,577 ft. (0.49 mi). This is to be done while preserving the integrity of all historic features or other important roadside elements.
