The USPP continues its lifecycle replacement of outdated radios along with a requirement to purchase additional radios to support the EO 14333 efforts to hire an additional 450 USPP officer by purchasing new Motorola APX Next All Band Model 4.5 Portable Radios and Motorola APX 8500 All Band MP Mobile Radios. Replacement of older radio assets with newer digital radios will allow a more robust and secure communication within the National Capital Region (NCR) and the New York Field Office (NYFO).
