Description
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and related services necessary to renovate and reconfigure the existing men's and women's shower and locker room wet areas at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). Work includes demolition and removal of existing shower assemblies, partitions, plumbing fixtures, and finishes; reconfiguration and construction of new shower areas; relocation of entrances and doorways as required; and installation of new plumbing, drainage, waterproofing, privacy features, and moisture- and slip-resistant finishes. As USMMA is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, all renovation work must comply with applicable historic preservation requirements, including the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation.
