Description
The 282-FT USCGC ALEX HALEY (WMEC-39) Ship Service Switchboards are no longer supportable and require replacement. This project entails replacement through a three-phase process covering design, fabrication, and installation support. The new 450 VAC, three-phase switchboard must adhere to dimensional constraints, be built to UL 891 and IEEE 45 standards, consist of four separable sections, withstand up to 45 rolls and 10 pitch, and include electrical system analyses for fault currents, protective device coordination, arc flash, and failure modes.
