Description
Tasking by White House to conduct a spectrum analysis on 7/8GHz band for possible auction back to public sector. R21 leverages these bands currently for communications traffic via Microwave circuits. The Contractor will assist the USCG in responding to the request submitted by the National Telecommunication and Information Administration, for frequency re-allocation providing the following: Market Research of available technology that meets or exceeds current microwave performance Analysis of as is conditions and uses across the Coast Guard Characterization of the environment to determine best solution for each specific area Consideration of acquisition cost, schedule, risk, and sustainment for selected solutions Full decomposition and impact across the many mission sets USCG fulfills within this frequency band enumerating the impacts to Civilian and Federal end users Development of future architectures and alternatives for consideration Test and Evaluation of potential technologies to address risk and prove concept and technology
