Overview
Description
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for prefabricated and ready for installation checkpoint booths for five (5) U.S. Border Patrol outdated checkpoint booths. In addition, the requirement includes 6 Overspeed Detection Systems (ODDS), which provides advanced audible and visual display warning capabilities by detecting actual and potential hostile threats of vehicles traveling above pre-determined speeds that are approaching a checkpoint. The requirement includes Agent needs Assistance Systems (ANA), which provides agents with a capability that would immediately alert other agents audibly and visually within the checkpoint of a hostile or unruly interaction with a vehicle operator and/or its occupant(s) about to take place or is taking place; and immediate assistance is needed. This procurement is intended to enhance current inspection capabilities as well as provide increased safety for Agents. Booths, ODDS, and ANA systems must be weather resistant, and meet CBP requirements.
