UM - REPLACE SEWER LIFT STATIONS 1/1A

Site 3 Located about 500 ft Ewa/west from the existing lift stations, the site is an open parking lot and adjacent to an electrical substation; lift station motor control center Bldg. 2038; and standby electric generator Bldg. 2039 servicing both lift stations. This location is closest when compared to Sites 1 and 2. The open area is smaller than Sites 1 and 2, and realignment of existing water, electrical, and signal/communication utilities will require temporary shutdown or bypassing. Once the new lift station is completed, utilities will be transferred over. A single lift station and wet well are proposed, receiving incoming gravity sewer flows from new sewer lines and manholes placed upstream from the existing lift station wet wells. Once all incoming flows are diverted to the new wet well, the existing wet wells will be demolished and airfield pavement restored.
