UM - REPLACE ROOF FOR LUALUALEI TANK S280
Type: Forecast
Overview
Description
Complete replacement of the roof of an existing partially buried concrete potable water storage tank. The tank is approximately 200' long, 50' wide and 11' deep. The existing roof, which appears to be constructed of wood and asphalt is severely deteriorated and failing, and will need to be removed. The new roof will be fixed to the top portion of the tank, which is above ground level. The roof must completely enclose the tank and be impervious to outside elements, as it will house potable water. Access hatches shall be provided for preventative maintenance purposes. Screened air vents may included, as needed. The tank can be drained during construction.
