Description
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Maritime Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA) is contemplating the procurement of a weapon systems simulator capable of delivering scenarios that incorporate augmented reality for judgmental and de-escalation law enforcement training. It must include applications of proven technologies. Requirements: (1) Incorporate USCG's Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) (i.e., Glock G19 pistol); (2) Design non-proprietary scenarios that allow customer/user to edit them; (3) Incorporate AVATAR responses to user actions across the Use of Force Model to the greatest extent possible; (4) Record data, performance metrics, and video of student/user during scenarios for use in playback; and (5) Be capable of cross-walk of Judgmental Use of Force Evaluation (JUFE) and Phase IV evaluations.
