The BGOV platform is a legislative and news intelligence service providing bill analysis and tracking, relevant news alerts, directory (contact) information for congressional and governors offices, and other important features. The tools included in the package enable OLPA to maintain awareness of news and legislative developments relevant to NSF and the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders in response to both proactive (i.e. award announcements and NSF systems management) and reactive (i.e. Congressional inquiries) needs. OLPA would like to re-engage the BGOV service at the start of the new fiscal year (FY26).The platform contains tools critical to OLPA s ability to efficiently meet its responsibilities, especially under reduced staffing scenarios. The BGOV tools are relied upon heavily by OLPA leadership, Media team leadership, and the entirety of the Government Affairs branch.
