TACCOM Radio purchase will enable ICE TACCOM to acquire modern radios with enhanced connectivity, improving the radio network and officer safety. By procuring radios as needed, this purchase also includes the radio equipment for reconciliation onboarding of the new HSI and ERO personnel, so they have access to the latest technology to support their mission. ICE has a continuing need to purchase radios, consolette s and other radio accessories to support its mission. Given the rapid advancement of IT and radio technology, certain products may become obsolete or reach their End of Life (EOL) over the contract period. The radios can be stationary or mobile platform. To maintain operational effectiveness, newer models will replace EOL products, and emerging technologies that meet ICE s ever evolving and advancing technical and operational requirements.
