Overview

Description
The Surface Power Exchange Connector and supported hardware would establish a common interface for power exchange from an Electrical Power System to an Electrical Power Consuming Equipment. This supports the hardware definition requirements to ensure that diverse lunar surface assets, including the Pressurized Rover, Lunar Terrain Vehicle, Fission Surface Power, and habitats can reliably exchange energy using a common "plug-and-play" architecture. Nominally, a vehicle fixed mounted side of the connector will be incorporated to vehicle prior to launch with a mobile cable end delivered separately.
