Type: Forecast • Source ID: 43892
Overview
Description
Provide support to NIST through participation in the development of Privacy Enhancing Cryptography (PEC), including the areas of secure multiparty computation and zero knowledge proofs. The task will include support for the standardization of mutli-party threshold schemes (MPTC) and activities of interest to the Interoperable Randomness Beacons, related to the use of trusted randomness. The task includes research in scope with the Circuit Complexity project, including the compilation or development of circuits of interest. Support will be provided in the development and revision of NISTIRs and NIST SPs as well as recommendation reports related to PEC, interoperable randomness beacons and multi-party threshold schemes
