ST25-4080 MAINTENANCE DREDGE IROQUOIS POINT, JBPHH

Type: Forecast

Overview

Description
Provide maintenance dredging at Entrance Channel near Hammer Point to re-establish the minimum required depths of 40 feet sides and 45 feet in the channel. The proposed project's maintenance dredging work will remove approximately 145,000 cubic yards of material (includes approximately one foot over-dredge). Per PRP41A, dredged material in this area is deemed low likelihood of containing MEC. However, will require sampling and testing to determine whether material can be ocean dispose or will require upland storage in the CDFs for processing. Also after processing material will need to be characterize for possible beneficial reuse or if it needs to be disposed of.
