This requirement acquire an expert accounting firm services to plan and conduct a performance audit of the USCG PPC s and Internal Controls functions related to Financial Reporting. Contract with an independent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for an annual Service Organization Control (SOC) 1, type 2 examination of and report on Coast Guard PPC controls relevant to its processing of NOAA and PHS. Each examination and report shall be conducted and prepared in accordance with Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 18 Attestation Standards: Clarification and Recodification section AT-C 320 Reporting on an examination of Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to User Entity s Internal Control Over Financial Reporting, or its successor. Each annual SOC 1 type 2 examination and report shall be for the period of July 1 through June 30. The cost for this service shall be paid by NOAA & PHS under a separate contract.
