SME Contractor Support for FPS Environmental Compliance Office

The FPS Environmental Compliance Office has a requirement for specialized Contractor support to, 1) review and become familiar with current DHS and FPS environmental planning, compliance and cost effective purchasing policies and workflows, 2) support the FPS Environmental Officer with program creation, management and execution, 3) assist the FPS Environmental Officer in review and routing of projects for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review and compliance, 4) assist the Environmental Officer with customer service: attending meetings, taking notes for FPS action/awareness, customer service, outreach, conducting trainings, and other support and execution duties to keep the environmental programs running when the Environmental Officer is out of office or unavailable, and 5) travel as necessary to support the FPS Environmental Compliance Office program implementation. The place of performance shall be the Contractor s facilities, remote or via telework within the Springfield, VA and Alexandria, VA area. The Contractor may need to report in person to the following locations at the discretion of the FPS Environmental Officer as operational or project needs require: FPS Headquarters, 6595 Springfield Center Drive, Springfield, VA 22150 FPS Bren Mar, Training Facility, 6815 Bren Mar Dr, Alexandria, VA 22312 Regional offices Other locations determined by the FPS Environmental Officer due to mission, leadership, and/or project needs.
