SATELLITE HOUSING OFFICE IN VILLAGGIO

Construct a new Community Center facility in Villaggio. The new building will host Community Center Services function, but it also will host the Housing Maintenance/Self-Help function (self-help activity and warehouse). The new facility will be approx 10,000 SF on two stories and adjacent to the facility there will be an outdoor covered storage space of approx 1,000 SF. Included this project is also a parking area. Supporting facilities include: demolition of 7 buildings, 12,474 including 211, as well as some buildings located in proximity of the water tower in Villaggio (in particular bldgs. #301 and #322, the relocation of the main 509th Node and DPW Electrical switch (currently located in Bldg #301) and the improvement of the area (road, fence) in proximity of the, Back Access Gate. Site work includes: all required utility systems, storm drainage, street improvements and lighting, and information systems. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by autonomous system. Automatic fire protection sprinkler systems will be provided. Construction will be in accordance with (IAW) the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Building Standards.
