Description
The U.S. Strategy for Central Asia strives to build a self-reliant Central Asia that is interconnected, independent, and resistant to malign influences . The purpose of this contract is to support U.S. Government (USG) development objectives for Central Asia by identifying qualified key personnel to assist the USAID/Regional Mission for Central Asia (RMCA) plan and implement relevant USAID-financed Activities. Relevant activities will be those that are developed and implemented pursuant to the USAID/RMCA Regional Development Cooperation Strategy (RDCS), Regional Development Objective (RDO) 1, Strengthening Regional Connectivity and the three domains of activity contemplated thereunder: a) reducing barriers to trade; b) modernizing the regional energy sector; and c) improving cooperation on transboundary water and environment resources. Offerors are encouraged to explore the possibility of developing teaming arrangements so that the proposed technical approach offers a consortia of diverse organization capable of responding to task orders in the full range of possible subject matter areas under RDO 1. USAID/RMCA notes that this is a forecast and may be adjusted or cancelled.
