Research Collection & Reporting System (RCRS) enhancement

USSS requires enhancements to the Research Collection and Reporting System (RCRS) needed to accommodate the complex and unique data architecture of NTAC research utilized by USSS. MITRE has delivered an operational prototype of RCRS to the USSS enterprise environment that meets the challenges of NTAC requirements and can support NTAC research now and into the future. Additional enhancements and functionality have been identified that would further propel NTAC s ability to gather and analyze targeted violence research and achieve its critical mission of maintaining cross-topic analysis of all forms of targeted violence. These enhancements include user-level data entry for emerging projects, data management efficiency enhancements, additional workflow implementations and enhancements, application of customizable Role Based Access Control, advanced reporting on extant and emerging projects, and implementation of a sustainable and USSS led system administration.
