Request to purchase a soybean research plot combine

A new combine is required because current combine is over 15 years old and no longer supported by the manufacturer. The electronic weight bucket is non-functional and cannot be repaired. The other combine in our unit is even older and does not have a weight bucket. This means that seed of each plot is bagged and trucked to the building to be weighted whichlimits our productivity. The company Zurn has the right type of combine with wheel tracks that can be moved allowing flexibility to change row spacing for different tests. Combine will be used by two programs and can be used by others.
