Description
This project is to replace existing asbestos cement pipe(ACP) water supply pipe transmission line from Harmon Booster pump Station to Barrigada Reservoir. Work will include removal, disposal, and replacement of 12 inch diameter (approximately 10,662 LF) and 14 inch diameter (approximately 4,000 LF) ACP with new 12 to 14 inch diameter inch heat fused joint Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe, associated fittings, gate valves, meter, metering vaults, manholes, thrust blocks, taping backfill and compaction. The project includes and but not limited to clearing, cutting, trenching, excavation, removal, disposal and restoration of roadway including asphalt pavement, Portland cement concrete, base course, sub base and sub grade. Water supply service shall remain active during construction of the
replacement and maybe accomplished by installing a temporary water transmission line.
