FEAD DELIVERABLE. CAT.2 AE-DB
FUNDING SOURCE: CNIC-TRF-OMN-ST
PROGRAM INFO: AE-DB AWARD 2026 Q3
SOW:
Replace the existing B7066 regulator with a new 15 kV, 3-phase voltage regulator adjacent to B7148 (below the demolished B7035). The Leidos non-awarded construction design package for the new voltage regulator shall be included in the 6-part RFP as an exhibit set for use by the DB team's designer of the new regulator. All requirements in the Leidos exhibit package shall be used in the new cat.2 project with updated verification of the regulator rating required in this new cat.2 project. See the Leidos construction package exhibit files in the MSR 77106947 folder. The new automatic, 3-phase, 15 kV voltage regulator shall include a 15-kV bypass switch, reverse power internal protection, specs matching Leidos exhibit package except for new rating confirmation, new regulator concrete pad, new chain link safety fence, new retaining wall, new gauges, new AMI meter inside B7148 for the regulator load cable, full SCADA point monitoring to B1305 via the CS network, corrosion resistant enclosure for the new regulator, replace F512 existing conductors with new 2 per phase 3 each 15-kV, 500 kcmil EPR insulated copper conductors from the new regulator back to the first manhole outside of substation 5, and connect the new regulator line side to the replacement F512 conductors and the regulator load side to the existing B7148 regulator breaker and SEL relay. Provide a power system study for coordination from Sub.5 to the new voltage regulator to the B7148 regulator incoming feeder supply and to set all associated microprocessor relays. Confirm the regulator kVA rating in the Leidos exhibit set using the latest trending 3-phase kW & kVA for F512N & F512S meter data from meters inside B7148 connected to the AMI network.
