Description
Substation 1 is one out of four of the main substations that provide electrical utility service to the 5kV distribution system at NAS Oceana. Substation 1 will be replaced in its entirety, including replacing the 5kV rated switchgear with 15kV rated switchgear, transformer, transformer tap changer, 34.5kV outdoor bus structure and air break switch. Substation to be replaced in its original location with provisions of providing a switchgear house.
