Description
As Applicable (SOW, IGE, SAR, ESAR, NEPA, DD1391, ESS & Other Planning Action) to convert, repair, restore, and modernize Unaccompanied Enlisted Housing (UEH) and NGIS Units: Investigate current condition to verify scope and prepare RFP Project Documentation in order to bring the existing Apra Palms housing inventory up to contemporary housing standards (i.e. life safety, convenience, quality, livability, maintainability) to the extent practicable through repair and improvement IAW UFC 4-711-01, DoDM 4165.63, and applicable CNICINST. Requirements include any required exterior envelope repairs, roof repair, exterior window and door replacement, paint interior & exterior, interior repairs, repair/replace A/C, repair/replace plumbing, repair/replace electrical, mold abatement, kitchen repairs, fixture replacement, cabinet repair/replacement, replace locks and re-key, grounds maintenance, and custodial work needed to make family housing units clean and ready for next resident. Specifics to include; not all inclusive NAVFAC must field verify and update: EXTERIOR/ROOF: - Pressure wash entire exterior concrete roof, wall surfaces, overhangs, fascia and canopies. Clean and remove debris, algae and vegetation from all surfaces, walls, gutters, and the roof. - Damaged or deteriorated wall areas shall be repaired or replaced to restore to a serviceable, structurally sound, and watertight condition. This includes removal of discoloration, graffiti, or other defects which would render an unsightly appearance to exterior walls. - At concrete roof, overhangs, fascia and canopies, provide minimum thickness 60 mil fluid applied silicon elastomeric waterproofing membrane, minimum 2 coats.
