Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Sector New York has developed a program to ensure collection of solid waste and recyclables, such as garbage, debris and rubbish, and recycled material including cardboard, office paper, plastic & metal waste, construction debris, resulting from housing support and office activities. Excluded from this function is the collection and disposal of hazardous waste, solids or dissolved materials in domestic sewage, and infectious/medical wastes. Selected contractor for this work shall provide all direct and indirect labor, transportation, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, vehicles, and all refuse and recycling collection and disposal services needed to support the U.S. Coast Guard Sector New York waste management program at the following locations: Fort Wadsworth and Rosebank sites in Staten Island, New York Battery Park Building in Manhattan, New York Aids to Navigation Team New York in Bayonne, New Jersey.
