Red Hat License Renewal FY2025
Type: Forecast • Source ID: F2025068940
Overview
Description
FEMA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) requires annual licensing and renewal for the Red Hat Linux Operating system that runs the SOC Tools and Applications. This annual subscription renewal is needed to maintain FEMA s enterprise Red Hat software and Open Shift License. The software is used as key component to our IT infrastructure and Satellite services. In addition, Red Hat provides our Linux staff an effective management tool for controlling, provisioning and monitoring our installed Linux base. Open Shift Container Platform license will add the container-based software development capabilities and virtual application deployment functionality to the FEMA Open Stack and Cloud Forms virtual environments. The consulting services software will assist with installing and maintaining previously purchased Red Hat software.
