Description
Assist in restoration of existing USCG telecommunication and RF communication services and infrastructure damaged by unplanned events to allow continuing U.S. Coast Guard operations while long term full operational capability efforts are being determined and implemented. Possible repairs include replacement of damaged RF antennas and/or RF cabling, outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) cabling and associated infrastructure, replacement network interface devices (NIDs), and replacement work area outlets (WAOs) as required to restore telecommunications and/or RF communications. In some cases repairs may also include rebuilding telephone closets. Due to the nature of the varying locations and site requirements, this contract will be awarded as a Time and Materials Award.
