Radio System Maintenance at CDP (L3/Harris radio system)

The purpose of this maintenance agreement is to support the CDP trunked radio system. This maintenance contract includes infrastructure maintenance, software maintenance, device maintenance and shelf-life extensions. Contract should include a base year and one option year. This contract provides maintenance, software updates, and repairs to the CDP radio system. The CDP training teams must be able to communicate while also providing first responders the hands-on training that is conducted in the most realistic environment. The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), in 2012, installed a Harris P25 Trunked LMR system. The system includes an RF site at Noble Training Facility and the COBRATF, and a dispatch console at Building 61. A central controller ties the sites and console together into one integrated network. The system supports 450 XG25 and 15 XL-200 handheld radios. All radios are AES encrypted. and have UPS battery backup and surge suppression. The Maintenance Agreement includes software maintenance, response time requirements, equipment repair, access to technical resources, preventative maintenance, subscriber maintenance, and reports. The CDP P25 Trunked Radio System includes several integrated components that require highly qualified and certified technicians with extensive knowledge and experience to sustain and maintain the system. In order to continue and maintain the functionality, integrity, and upgrades of the CDP P25 Trunked LMR Radio System it is critical to continue a Maintenance Agreement to support the CDP P25 Trunked Land Mobile Radio LMR System.
