Description
This contract supports USDAs Public Access policy outlined in Departmental Regulation 1020-006 which mandates that scholarly publications arising from USDA-funded and authored research be made publicly accessible in machine-readable format. The metadata librarian will review PubAg bibliographic records in the library system (Alma) and in the submission system to identify quality concerns such as non-standardized metadata fields and errors and clean up metadata to ensure PubAg API meets customers need of high-quality and machine-readable metadata for PubAg content.
