PSN 28673091 - Design Build Services for Reconfigure Composite and Paint Booth Space at AIRSTA Detroit, Mt. Clemens, MI The Contractor shall provide Design and Construction Services to design and construct a Doffing Room for the sanding booth at Airsta Detroit, Selfridge Airforce Base, Mt. Clemens, MI. In addition, the paint booth, next to the sanding booth, does not have sufficient airflow. This shall be remedied as part of this contract. The Contractor shall obtain the services of a mechanical engineer licensed in the State of Michigan, to provide design services for the project. The design shall be in conformance with applicable regulations, codes and regulatory agencies. Design services shall include but not be limited to the following: perform research and site investigation, provide a design for a Doffing Room; install a fume hood and table for paint mixing; and increase the airflow in the paint booth in compliance with Aviation Corrosion Control Facilities Configuration Standard Technical Order at USCG Guard Airsta Detroit, Mt. Clemens, MI. Upon Coast Guard review for conformance of the contractor s design, the Contracting Officer shall direct the Contractor to commence construction of the design solution.
