Type: Forecast

Overview

Description
Modernizes the installation's infrastructure to increase utility and energy conservation, and improve energy flexibility while providing the base with resiliency to support the critical missions of overhauling nuclear submarines. Constructs a desalination plant within the existing Power Plant to provide pure water to support the daily operation of the Power Plant. This project will increase plant water supply to "N+1" condition by producing process water for onsite for steam production and make up water for turbine generator and air compressor cooling using desalination.
