Portable Gas Chromatograph with Mass Spectrometry Detector (Griffin 510x Portable GC-MS)

Type: Forecast • Source ID: F2025071471

Overview

Description
Laboratories and Scientific Services (LSS) requires 15 human-portable gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) systems, designed as a field-deployable version of laboratory-grade benchtop GC/MS systems for chemical identification. LSS chemists operating on CBP s frontline but away from fixed laboratory facilities (equipped with benchtop GC/MS systems) require the capability to rapidly determine the presence of suspect chemicals for counternarcotics and border-security operations. The Griffin G510 is designed for regular startup/shutdown and ruggedized for constant movement, both of which are not true for benchtop systems. The Griffin G510 is capable of analyzing a variety of chemicals and produces additional identifications beyond the substances known to be present in each sample analyzed.
